The comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep and the well-curated furniture added a touch of charm. We were greeted with generous welcome amenities, including delicious local food and drinks. The location was perfect, with easy access to popular tourist destinations and excellent dining options nearby. Got a weekend break with some friends and honestly, it was just okay. On the plus side, the wine and beer provided on arrival were a nice touch. Also, the proximity to the tasty local restaurant and pub was quite convenient. If you're looking to explore the surrounding area, it was well-placed too.
The negatives outweighed the positives. The cottage we stayed in was really overpriced for what it was - a few updates here and there would have made it more palatable but instead, it came across as outdated and shoddy for the price paid.
